Startup Studio is delighted to engage artists Michelle Gagliano and Andrea Ruedy Trimble in a conversation about the importance of increasing sustainability both in your studio and in your artwork. They will discuss how to create and use more earth-friendly materials and how they reflect the importance of these values in their studios, in their practice, and in their finished artwork.
The talk will be followed by a hands-on art-making activity, as attendees learn how to make a (TBD) material from natural sources, which you will then have the chance to use in a drawing session. More detail on the hands-on activity will be provided before the event.
This will be an in-person only event at Second Street Gallery in Charlottesville, VA.
